Adding again to the white trash...my son running around without his shirt on. Cute little friends, Rylynn, Braden, Wes.
Yet another addition...the baby eating random food off the ground.
Jam packed back yard. We had so much fun!
Now that's just cute.
I told some friends at the BBQ that I would put my Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe on my blog so here it is. It is actually my mother-in-law, Carol's, recipe.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening (use Crisco not generic for best results)
1 t. vanilla
Cream together until smooth. Add:
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 1/4 t. baking soda
Mix well. If dough is very sticky and moist, add a little more flour.
Add your favorite chocolate chips. I have also used M&Ms (very yummy).
Roll out into big balls. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cookies are done when only the tallest peaks on the cookies are light brown. Do not over-bake. Cool on a cooling rack or wax paper.
